There’s something new in town. A good news. It’s called Casa Clàt: a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the Sardinian capital.

Casa Clàt is the result of a skilful restoration and enhancement of an ancient historic building of the city, Palazzo Frau, in Viale Regina Margherita, a few steps from the Bastion of Saint Remy and the main attractions of Cagliari. Nine suites resulting from the collaboration of Sardinian designers and artists who have been able to create 9 unique spaces equipped with all the comforts of a 5-star hotel knowing how to enhance the original elements of the ancient building with the most modern Italian design.

Interior design enthusiasts will find bread for their teeth. We go from the Isola suite with the circular bed and the designer bathtub, the Smeraldo suite with the hydromassage tub in the heart of the room, the Abissi Suite with its total black colors, the sinuous lines of the Dune Suite, up to the marvelous Eclàt Suite with the mural by Giorgio Casu, the turret from which you can admire the entire city, the private Turkish bath as well as the detail of the original cement tiles perfectly inserted into the modern parquet.

Casa Clàt also opens its doors to external guests, from breakfast to light lunches and aperitifs (don’t miss the signature cocktails skilfully elaborated by the barman of the structure) and dinners. The kitchen of Casa Clàt, headed by executive chef Filippo Monaco, combines, like the entire concept of the structure, the best of tradition with innovation. And the excellence of local products cannot be missing and in particular those of Nieddittas, a leading company in mussel farming in Sardinia, whose owners, the Murgia brothers, have started this business  bringing a breath of fresh air to the Sardinian city.

To close the circle the internal garden with swimming pools and lounges that will not fail to attract many citizens of Cagliari and tourists in the warmer months.
