Villa Sassa Hotel & Residence – Lugano
Today we cross the Italian border to reach the nearby Canton Ticino and in particular its most important center, Lugano. Lugano is a fascinating Swiss city with an Italian flavor. An exclusive destination to enjoy the unspoiled nature of its lake and the surrounding Alps where you can take advantage of Switzerland’s high quality of life a few steps from Italy.

Position
The Villa Sassa Hotel & Residence is located about ten minutes walk from the central station of Lugano and the city center. The lake is easily accessible on foot, being able to easily give up the car and public transport. The structure, however, ensures complete relaxation to be reserved for city stress. In addition, its location ensures a unique view of the lake, the city and the surrounding mountains.

For longer stays it is possible to book an apartment (with various sizes and services), while for a shorter holiday the ideal is to choose one of the many room options offered by the structure. We start from the comfort room, continuing for the deluxe, the premium suite, the premium suite with lake view, the grand suite and the grand suite with lake view and finally the top of the range, the Rooftop grand suite with lake view. The latter, where I stayed, is a real penthouse with a private terrace, 110 m2 of surface, private lounge with fireplace, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a unique view of the lake.

The property features a fully equipped fitness area, a wellness center with swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, an outdoor infinity pool with solarium, hairdresser and beautician on site.
