To join today’s hotel, we pass through the ocean to reach the much-desired Big Apple. New York is certainly a top destination for tourism and business and remains in the collective imagination synonymous of greatness, modernity and power, continuing to fascinate millions of visitors every year, including many compatriots. The recovery of the US economy and the weakening of the euro against the US currency have made the prices for hotels or other accommodations rise significantly, making it difficult to choose a good structure in the center of Manhattan. The hotel that I propose to you today is certainly not among the cheapest but offers significant advantages that we will list. Enjoy the reading!

Location

5/5
The name of the hotel already clarifies where in the city we are: Times Square. The center of the world will be a few steps from your room and if you opt for a room with a view you could also peer from the top of the building the coming and going of people who crowd the most famous pedestrian street in the world, with its bright signs sparkling at every hour of the day and night and with its incessant traffic of people of all kinds that make this place magical. The advantage of staying in the center of Manhattan also lies in the availability of connections to the rest of the metropolis. Metro stops at every corner where you can reach every attraction in New York with the many subway lines as well as the opportunity, given the strategic location in Midtown, to visit the island of Manhattan on foot (arm yourself with good shoes and courage). The centrality of the Hyatt does not preclude relaxation and silence. The rooms are obviously soundproofed and despite the chaos on the outside the hotel offers relaxing and silent rooms where you can regenerate after visiting the city.

Rooms

4/5
Hotel Hyatt Centric Times Square offers various types of rooms, from the standard room to the suites for a total of 487 rooms with an average of 34 square meters of surface area, decidedly more compared to other New York hotels. The touch of class is offered by the furnishings and design of these magnificent rooms, expertly selected by the architects’ office George Wong Design. The rooms offer all modern comforts, flat screen TV, a princely bathroom and an unmissable view of the city in the case of a room with a view (especially if you are staying on the upper floors).

Common and refreshment areas

4/5
A small lack of the Hotel is the narrowness of common areas. The Hall is very small and often crowded. Despite this, the Hotel offers many dining areas such as the T45 Midtown Diner restaurant, a dynamic restaurant of international cuisine in a retro Broadway-inspired setting, and the magnificent rooftop Bar 54, the tallest rooftop bar in Manhattan that will offer you a view from film about the skyline of the magnificent Big Apple. On the 54th floor of the building from here you can enjoy an excellent cocktail or glass of wine outdoors in good weather or indoors or even in winter in magnificent heated and absolutely trendy “bubbles” to enjoy a breathless view over the city that never sleeps.

Relax and sport

4/5

Like any other large Hyatt family hotel, this hotel also has a spa (Marylin Monroe Spa in Times Square) where you can relax with a massage or beauty treatment after a day of walking around the city or on business if you choose this hotel for work. You can even enjoy the super-equipped fitness center where you can keep in training.

Ultimately, if you want to spend the next holidays in New York, my advice is to choose from the hundreds of luxury hotels in the city this one. Location, design, attention to detail, will make you live the 100% New York experience
